Our love affair with French-speaking Canada begins today as we begin our voyage to Quebec City and the UNESCO-listed Old Quebec. This evening, head for the woods atop Mont Rigaud and "Sucrerie de la Montagne," an authentic sugar shack officially designated as a Quebec Heritage Site. Upon arrival, meet your host for the evening as you are taken by horse-drawn carriage to the sugar shack. Learn all about maple syrup including the extraction process and production. Try a "wapiti", a typical Quebecois aperitif, while engaging with your host who will regale you with local stories.
