Your 3 Week Holiday

Day 1: UK to Miami

Fly from the UK to Miami by scheduled airline, with meals, drinks and seatback entertainment all provided. On arrival make your way to you your chosen hotel on Miami's South Beach, for the start of your adventure.

Day 2: Miami

Known worldwide for its beautiful beaches and stunning art deco architecture, Miami’s attractions also extend to fabulous art, world-class shops, restaurants and a nightlife that attracts the world’s best DJ’s and celebrities from stage and screen.

At the heart of Miami’s popularity is South Beach. This beautiful stretch of palm-fringed beach is home to myriad beach resorts, the Art Deco District, Espanola Way, Ocean Drive and the Lincoln Road Mall; a place to see and be seen!

Day 3: Florida Keys (100 miles)

This morning, collect your motorhome in Miami and drive south to the Florida Keys. This string of tropical islands stretches about 120 miles off the southern tip of the U.S. between the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. They’re known for being a great destination for fishing, boating, snorkelling and scuba diving.

Suggested Campground: Grassy Key RV Park

Day 4: Key West (55 miles)

Cross the seven mile bridge and several more on the way across Marathon, Big Pine Key and the many others on the way to Key West. Boyd’s Key West Campground is just five miles from the Keys’ southernmost tip and an idyllic spot.

Suggested Campground: Boyd’s Campground

Day 6: John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (100 miles)

There’s only the one road in and out so now head back north bound for John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Established in 1963, this was the first undersea park created in the United States. The park, combined with the adjacent Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary encompasses 178 nautical square miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangrove swamps.

Suggested Campground: John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

Day 8: Everglades National Park (75 miles)

Leave the Florida Keys and drive into the Everglades National Park. Not a swamp as popularly pictured but technically a vast river slowly flowing southwest. The very popular Flamingo Campground should be pre-booked online using the National Park Service website that also has so much information and pictures of this amazing environment.

Suggested Campground: Flamingo Campground

Day 10: Sanibel Island (230 miles)

Today you are headed to Sanibel Island, a nature lovers delight. Here you’re likely to see many species of exotic and native birds and other wildlife including toucans, macaws and lemurs.

Suggested Campground: Periwinkle Park & Campground

Day 12: Fort DeSota Country Park (145 miles)

Back to the mainland and, to gobble up those miles, it’s worth taking the Interstates 75/275 bound for Fort DeSoto Country Park. Its 1,136 acres are made up of five interconnected islands and many sites are directly on the water. DeSoto has won the America’s Best Beach award so just stay and enjoy.

Suggested Campground: Fort DeSota Country Park Campground

Day 13: Orlando (100 miles)

Walt Disney World and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is calling. Visit all the sites of Disney plus all the other Orlando area attractions including Universal Studios and Seaworld. You’ll need to book ahead, deciding in advance how many nights you want to spend here to see your choices of theme parks.

Suggested Campground: Disney’s Fort Wilderness

Day 16: Juno Beach (160 miles)

Head east to the Atlantic and make for world famous Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Centre, NASA’s launch headquarters. Here you can tour launch areas, see the giant rockets, train in spaceflight simulators and see the moon close up via stunning iMax presentations. If you’re lucky, you might meet a veteran astronaut. They say the best way to experience Florida is a visit to The Palm Beaches and Boca Raton, so head south to the stunning area of Juno Beach.

Suggested Campground: Juno Ocean Walk RV Resort

Day 18: Dania Beach (105 miles)

In the morning drive south to a little haven of luxury and live life as a celebrity strolling through the Worth Avenue shopping district at Palm Beach dubbed ‘Rodeo Drive of the East’ and make time to see some dreamy mansions including Henry Flagler’s, which is now one of the top sightseeing attractions. Your destination is NorthCoast which has been a favourite among motorhomers and the small boat community for fifty years. The sands of Dania Beach are just minutes away.

Suggested Campground: North Coast Park

Day 20: Depart Miami

It’s just 40 miles back to Miami where you will need to drop off your motorhome. You could choose to stay here in Miami for a bit longer to soak up the sunshine, or you can head straight for the airport to catch your flight back to the UK.

Day 21: Arrive in the UK

Arrive back into the UK this morning where your holiday sadly comes to an end. If you would like, we can organise a transfer from the airport to get you back to your front door.
