Day 1: Arrive in Orlando

Welcome to the Theme Park capital of the world! Enjoy an evening at Downtown Disney, with over 170 shopping, dining and entertainment facilities, everyone will find something fun to do. Or experience the excitement of an interactive dinner show. You will have five nights to enjoy the magic of Orlando.

Day 2: Orlando

Today you have the choice to enjoy one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Choose from the theme parks below:

Magic Kingdom Park®
Meet Mickey Mouse and his friends in the Magic Kingdom® Park, where the fantasies of Walt Disney become reality with attractions for the young, and the young at heart. See Cinderella Castle at the top of Main Street, USA which shows America as it was nearly a hundred years ago. Visit Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square and Tomorrowland. See The Haunted Mansion and experience the thrill of riding Space Mountain. Make sure to visit Mickey’s Toontown Fair, The place to meet Mickey and the gang in person. Enjoy the nightly fireworks spectacular featuring favourite Disney characters and a stunning music and lights display.

Disney’s Epcot®
Visit the two entertaining worlds of Epcot® (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow). This Park is a showplace for the achievements of man, a tribute to innovation and imagination, and a fellowship of international culture. It consists of Future World and World Showcase. Future World features attractions such as Spaceship Earth, where you will experience a journey from the beginning of time to the electronic age. Ride Test Track, a high-speed thriller that mimics actual vehicle testing conditions, sending you through breathtaking twists and turns. Explore all of Future World where innovation and invention entertain. World Showcase offers the cultures of eleven nations. The architecture and landscape change as you move from one country to the next. Taste the cuisine, shop and be entertained by distinctly different traditions. End the evening by watching Illuminations, a night time kaleidoscope of music and light.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom®

Day 3: Orlando - Universal Studios® Florida

You’re the star at Universal Studios where you can ride the movies. Join the agents from “Men in Black Alien Attack” and zap aliens as you chase them through the streets of New York. Plunge into darkness on Revenge of the Mummy® a psychological thrill ride that combines special effects and speed. See Shrek 4-D an original 3-D film, with an added dimension where you will see, hear and feel the action right from your seat. Fly with E.T. on a star-bound bike as you help him save his home planet. You’ll find something that appeal to kids of all ages at the place where you become part of the movies! Universal‘s Islands of Adventure® - Journey through five remarkable islands where all your favourite myths, legends comic books and cartoon heroes come to life. Enter a comic book city in the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man® a 3-D thrill ride, where you will battle evil and feel the adventure. Ride your couch through the pages of the famous children’s book “The Cat in the Hat!” on Seuss Island. Explore the Lost Continent® where you will find Duelling Dragons® the world’s first inverted duelling roller coaster. Experience all of the cutting edge rides and stories come to life at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

Day 4: Orlando - SeaWorld® Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando is a premiere marine adventure park. It features thrilling rides and amazing shows where the animals are the stars. Your feet will dangle on Kraken, the only floorless rollercoaster in Orlando. Meet Shamu, the famous killer whale in the sensational show Believe. Get ready for the ultimate adventure on Journey to Atlantis! Travel on water and high-speed rails through special effects and a 60 foot drop! Check out the current spectacle at the Sea lion and Otter Stadium, where Clyde and Seamore will be into some mischief. Make sure to include a stop at the dolphin nursery, where you can see up close new dolphin mothers and their calves. Experience the magic of marine life and the splendour of what lies beyond the ocean’s door.

Day 5: Orlando Aquatica

This is a sister-park to SeaWorld. This water park is themed after the Southern Pacific and features Australian and New Zealand based mascots. It features a wide array of attractions for all ages and swimming abilities, some of which pass by or through animal habitats. Slip and slide through miles of open and enclosed tubes, on single, double, and family rafts, on water mats, or simply on your bathing suit for a world of exciting fun. Catch the waves at the gigantic wave pool or cool off at the all-ages water playground.

Day 6: Sarasota (135 miles)

Head toward Sarasota via Tampa to visit the fabulous Busch Gardens Amusement Park. This family adventure park offers an array of fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent. Continue to Sarasota on the Gulf of Mexico; the many tiny islands that surround Sarasota offer a variety of spectacular views, venture to Lido, Siesta, or Longboat Keys and experience the subtle differences for yourself.

Day 7: Sarasota

Sarasota is home to some of the most spectacular sandy beaches on the Gulf Coast, while it maintains its charm as a sleepy beach town, it boasts great family-oriented attractions. All sorts of water-related activities are offered beach-side; canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, jet skiing and snorkelling to name but a few.

Day 8: Ft. Myers (76 miles)

This morning, consider a visit to Sarasota Jungle Garden before departing for Fort Myers. Fort Myers and the surrounding islands boast some of Florida’s most natural and lovely beaches. They are a haven for birds, wildlife and the sea turtles that come here to nest.

Hotels: (Standard) Diamondhead Beach Resort (3 nights in a two bedroom suite featuring one king bed, two twin beds, a queen-size sleeper sofa and a fully equipped kitchenette).

Day 9: Ft. Myers

Today is yours to enjoy the fabulous beaches. You may choose to participate in one of the many water activities, take a lesson on how to windsurf, build a sand castle, or just relax by the shore while looking for some of the more than 400 species of seashells found here. Get intimate with the back bays and aquatic preserves that surround Fort Myers by taking a guided kayak tour which is sure to please everyone. Or, you may choose to visit Key West for the day by way of the Key West Ferry.

Day 11: Miami Beach (153 miles)

Enjoy your last morning in the Fort Myers area before you head east to Miami Beach. This international city is rich with a multi-ethnic culture, reflected in the cuisine and architecture. The beaches are a great way to relax as you absorb the pastel buildings and turquoise waters. In the evening, head for South Beach’s Lincoln Road, this pedestrian-friendly outdoor Mall is home to over 175 shops, outdoor cafes, restaurants and galleries.

Day 12: Miami Beach

Warm breezes, swaying palm trees, and the sound of the waves washing ashore act as a backdrop for pastel coloured, Art Deco buildings making Miami’s South Beach a stunning and often intoxicatingly beautiful place. It has been called the American Riviera by seasoned travellers, but there’s more to this city than fine white sand and turquoise waters.

Self Guided Art Deco Walking Tour: Learn more about the Art Deco architecture by taking a walking tour of this historic district. Admire the exterior ornamentation of these landmark structures and explore the equally impressive interiors, at your own pace.

OPTIONAL EXPERIENCE - Everglades Safari Tour
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Everglades from Miami, Florida. This tour takes you on a visit to the largest remaining swampland in the world. You will experience the thrilling sensation of an airboat ride and witness the serene beauty of the untamed wilderness of the Everglades.

Day 13: Saint Augustine (343 miles)

Drive north toward Fort Lauderdale, known as the “Venice of America” because of the intricate canal system. After a brief stop here, continue on to Kennedy Space Centre, the site of the American Space Program and NASA headquarters where all Apollo moon missions were launched and all Space Shuttles liftoff. Continue onto St. Augustine to explore the historic district with its cobblestone streets and interesting shops. There are many dining options in the Old City, including authentic pubs, gourmet bistros, waterfront terraces, and unique, casual cafes.

OPTIONAL EXPERIENCE - Old Jail St Augustine Tour
Enjoy admission to this fun and historic attraction. Built in 1891, the jail held prisoners for over 60 years. Your guided tour led by the jailers includes a close-up view of the men’s and women’s cells, maximum security, as well as a collection of weapons. The Old Jail deputies will entertain you with tales of justice and punishment when Florida was America’s southernmost frontier.

Day 14: Depart Orlando (136 miles)

Depending on your onward plans, you may choose to enjoy some more of this historic and charming city this morning before departing to Orlando. Another option is to stop briefly in Daytona Beach on the way to the airport. Daytona Beach has been depicted in countless movies; it is the only beach where cars are allowed to drive on the sand. Continue to Orlando International Airport for your flight home or onward to your next destination.
